Let us never forget what happened on September 11, 2001.

The war on terror is slowing turning into a distant memory. Some argue that we have lost focus and we are fighting the wrong enemy. If the terrorist are your enemies and want you dead does it really matter if they call themselves al-Qaida or Hezbollah? Does it matter which state sponsors the terrorist? The enemy will try to misdirect and misinform. The terrorist will use are own free press to distort their intentions and spread lies about our own government and its attempts to protect us. These tactics come straight from their play book.

Have you forgotten the horror, and the sorrow of that fateful day. Have you allowed yourself to be diluted with the lie that we brought it on ourselves. Have you forgotten all the other terrorist acts committed before 9/11/2001? The USS Cole, Mogadishu, the Marine barracks on Beirut.

Does it not matter that Hussein gave $25,000 to the families of suicide bombers who blew up innocent women, children and babies? Does it matter that we poisoned his own people. Did it matter that he attempted to shoot down American planes on an almost weekly basis.

Does it matter that we are fighting al-Qaida in Iraq instead of allowing them to attack us again?

History has a nasty habit of repeating itself. If you value your freedom and the safety of your home. If you never want to re-live the horrors of 9/11/2001 then never forget the pain, the anguish, death, and the sorrow of that day. Freedom is a precious, fragile thing. If you take it for granted it will disappear
